Radiology System Development, Expansion, and Technical Support

In coordination with IOM ICT, the Global Center leads the in-house development of IOM’s institutional teleradiology systems and various radiology software applications and expanded radiology technological advances to field missions, with uninterrupted technical support and troubleshooting. The Global Center uses an in-house Teleradiology Primary Reading system and Global Teleradiology QC system, and interfaces with IOM health information systems, modality worklist software, image compression and anonymization tools, among others. Expansion of radiology technologies, including installation of PACS, worklist modality software, and bulk image compression software at the mission level is done by the Global Center, as well as regular maintenance and support of the PACS system and other technologies installed in the missions. The Global Center continues to work on enhancement and development of new systems as needed.
